Hear from teacher Mike Grigs, students and one of the first community backers, Pete Clement, about the school’s initiative building tiny homes and the skills of local youth. Get ideas for tiny builds and what they can be used for, considerations for consents, and tour several builds the students have completed.
Ōpunake Tiny Homes DIY skills sessions - Interactive
Following the tour, learn from the students how to use common power tools and try your hand as several of the skills needed to build tiny homes.
