Hear about the pros and cons of building with hemp, the build process and what it’s like living in a hemp home. Matt will also talk to other sustainable features of their home and provide an optional tour of the garden and orchard.

Sustainable Builds - Workshop
This facilitated discussion is for people considering, are part way through, or who have completed a sustainable build. Participants will each share their ideas and where they’re at in the journey, pass on advice from their experience, and share valuable contacts.

Organic Orchard & Hemp House - Tour & Talk
Walk through the orchard and hear about what it takes to get organic certification, the orchard processes - growing, harvesting and distribution as well as pruning, mulching, and integrating livestock. Move indoors to hear about the pros and cons of building with hemp, the build process and what it’s like living in a hemp home, as well as other sustainable features of the home.
